Our Philosophy

CITYterm acts as a laboratory school for understanding what makes learning deep and transformational.  Our faculty work collaboratively to facilitate experience-based, skills-focused learning.  Our goal is for students to be able to transfer the skills they learn at CITYterm to future endeavors.  

At CITYterm our students leave with a heightened sense of who they are as a learner and the confidence that comes from being able to navigate one of the world's greatest cities. CITYterm students become the authors of their own learning. Like the writers, artists, curators and urban planners we meet, they are designing experiences that lead them into deep learning.
