Weekend Happenings

On Saturdays, 4:00-11:00 and on Sundays until 5:30, CITYtermers explore New York City in groups of three, discovering the main streets and hidden surprises that the city has to offer. Each week a group of students comes up with a set of options for the weekend, though there are three standing CITYterm challenges.

Weekend Challenges

  1. Walk Manhattan, tip to tail: Start out at the northern tip of the island and wind your way down to Battery Park.
  2. The 5 Borough Ice Cream Challenge: In one day, eat ice cream in all 5 boroughs and maximize the types of transportation you use.
  3. NYSea: travel from Westchester to Manhattan to Queens, by boat!
